Apex STEM Education Inc.’s flagship team placed third nationally in Development Class and earned Sustainability and Team Identity awards — proof that student-led engineering programs can compete at the highest level.

In April 2026, Ridge Racers NJ — the flagship competitive team of Apex STEM Education Inc. — earned 3rd place in Development Class at the STEM Racing USA National Finals in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Students completed the full engineering cycle: CAD design, manufacturing, instrumented testing, data analysis, and judged presentations. The team also received national Sustainability and Team Identity awards.
For Apex STEM Education Inc., Nationals is more than a trophy. It demonstrates that a New Jersey nonprofit can give middle and high school students a credible path to national-level STEM competition — with measurable documentation, enterprise skills, and mentor oversight.
Prior season results include NJ State Champions 2025 and 2nd place at Eastern Regionals. Public team details live at ridgeracersnj.com; Apex STEM Education Inc. is the nonprofit sponsor and home for the program.
